The congress corresponds with the ZONMW-funded multi-center research program 'Functional strain, work capacity and restoration of mobility in the  rehabilitation of persons with SCI. This research program is a strong collaboration of 4 research groups and 8 SCI rehabilitation units in The Netherlands.
