“Rehabilitation grabbed me and sucked me into that wonderful world;
much like Alice and the rabbit hole. It was a place where I could
realize my childhood dreams of being a teacher as well as a nurse.
I was introduced to Rehabilitation Nursing in 1986 and although it
has been almost 20 years, it seems like only yesterday. |

|
What does Rehabilitation Nursing means to me:
Holistic
Caring |
|
“I could
actually write pages and pages about the meaning of Rehabilitation
Nursing and how it applies to me. I will save the memory space on
your computer by saying it is the only holistic approach to
caring for patients. It is the kind of nursing that allows you to
be a teacher, cheerleader, advocate, healthcare provider and team
member.” |
| |
| Anything else that you would like to
share? |
“The most
enjoyable role I have ever had is being a grandmother to 4 year old
Elizabeth Grace.”
