Previous
Experience: |
|
“Prior to working at Clear Lake Rehabilitation
Hospital, I worked in an LTAC facility and I realized that to see
patients receiving acute rehabilitation with positive results would
be a very demanding as well as rewarding experience. |
|
|
What does Rehabilitation Nursing means to me: |
| “Rehabilitation nursing is
physically as well as mentally challenging. I find the Functional
Independence Measure tool used in rehabilitation facilities
difficult to teach to new staff members, but very effective if
utilized correctly. Many other fields of nursing have aspects that
are fulfilling as well as rewarding, but rehabilitation nursing is
the one component in the vast field of nursing that a positive
patient outcome can be a realistic expectation.” |
