| What is the Silent
Auction? |
| The annual Silent Auction is a fun way
for Chapter members and guests to contribute to community agencies
for people with disabilities. Members, sponsors, and community
retail agencies donate items for the silent action. Attendees at the
November Holiday Gala and Awards Banquet have fun bidding on these
items via written bids on a bid sheet. Watch out for the bidding
wars!!!
It is a great way to get some early Christmas shopping done, or
to pamper yourself!
Proceeds are donated to community agencies for people with
disabilities. |

donate proceeds of the 2007 Silent Auction to two community agencies
for persons with disabilities: - “Be an Angel Fund” for barrier

SIRE is a non-profit therapeutic horseback riding program
which uses the spirit and movement of the horse to benefit people
with disabilities. SIRE has been active in the Houston area for the
past 24 years and currently serves over 190 clients per week at
