Presently I am the Director of Nursing for a personal care company and work daily with geriatric clients where I am constantly involved with their return from hospital or facility to home, working with home health companies to assist them to return to the highest functional level possible.
In addition, I am the owner and President of Compass Health Services. We provide nursing consultative services in the home. Our mission is to assist each person to live in their home with dignity and quality of life.”

The joy of my life has been to be the mother of wonderful children who are whole and successful, and now the grandmother of two wonder-filled granddaughters. I am married to a loving man who loves life and laughs a lot and is my very best friend.”
Anything else that you would like to share?
“One of my sons was severely brain injured in a MVA at the age of 14. We were told he would never recover, that he would be on life support forever. Well, every cell in my body said that would not be so! That once brain injured child is about to complete his Graduate Degree, is the webmaster for my company’s website, and is a sensitive, creative accomplished person. He is my best rehabilitation experience! I stopped working for over a year after his accident and we did every therapy known – physical, occupational, spiritual – dance, music, art, etc. He had to relearn everything from talking to crawling to walking. From adding to subtracting to Romeo and Juliet. He smelled weird things that weren’t there – he manifested behaviors and spoke words that I never knew that he knew! We cried together, laughed together, got frustrated together! He is a poster child for rehabilitation and is 100% recovered.
Never, never, never, never give up!
That is his motto… and it has been mine as well.
